Why a Wallet card rather than an app
Asking a customer to install an app for a loyalty card loses most of them at the very first step. Apple Wallet and Google Wallet, on the other hand, are already there.
The card is added in one tap, sits with the other everyday cards, and updates itself on every visit. No account to create, no password to remember.
How the customer adds their card
The flow is the same on iPhone and Android:
- The customer scans a QR code at the counter.
- They tap “Add to Apple Wallet” or “Add to Google Wallet”.
- The card is in their phone, ready to be stamped on the next visit.
A living card, not a frozen image
Wallet’s strength is remote updates. When you add a stamp or points, the customer’s card changes on its own: the counter moves, the next reward shows, and a notification can appear on the lock screen.
On the back of the card, the customer finds your rewards, your coupons and a short note from you. The card stays useful between visits, not just at the moment of scanning.
iPhone and Android, no distinction
